So IBM are present in a range of 3D web accessible platforms and now they are assessing NORTEL's web.alive client. So has this application anything really new to offer? Is it just a poor first cousin to Protosphere and Forterra? I think not and for a couple of simple and easily comprehensible reasons.
The first is the mighty UNREAL engine which has been honed and engineered with millions of lines of code over several years to be robust and encrypted to prevent data manipulation (i.e. stuff cannot be stolen and copied).
The second is the web analytics provided by the web.alive client which allows for the collection of avatar behaviour in minute detail.
Enough said again as our mantra in MellaniuM is " just click the link, click the link"
